Im not a musician, im just an casual audiophile who enjoys clear accurate sound! i used these stands on what i thought were average and muffled sounding powered Kanto speakers. Using these improved the soundstage/imaging/clarity dramatically. I've played around with cables and acoustic wall panels, and this is by far the biggest audible upgrade i've made in my audio journey! Get em, and it'll improve every aspect of your monitor/speakers sound. AMAZING

I just received these as a very cool Christmas gift from my wife. I put them together and stuck them under a set of Yamaha HS-5 monitors (another cool wifely Christmas gift three years ago!).
To say the difference is staggering would be a serious understatement! Top end is much cleaner. Mids have better imaging and the bottom end (okay, let's be honest here, the MID-BASS with only 5"woofers) is really cleaned up. I was able to pinpoint one problem area in a recent mix that had been bugging me for a while. The view under the audio microscope just got bigger!
If you have HS-5s, or even HS-8s or Adam Audio, KRKs, etc, you should just let the sales guy talk you into spending a little more to include these in your purchase! You'll be glad you did!
