I considered a number of options before choosing this one. (& I would have probably chosen the Gravity MS ATB 01 PRO if it had been easily available here!) But I have had great luck with k&m, and this fitting is one more solid example of elegant simplicity of design. There is nothing there that doesn't need to be there, - yet everything you need is not only present but also comfortably effective. The metal is thick and substantive, but not heavy, and the moving parts are both easy to adjust and easy to secure positively in position. I don't think I could have either bought or made anything more cheaply that works so well.
NOTE: My mounting bar did not arrive as it appears in the picture. It was actually better. It came with 3 adapters already attached: 2 for attaching to standard North American mic clips, and 1 for connecting to a mic stand. It was nice to not have to mess around with finding extra adapters.
