Most 12-string guitars are strung with .010 gauge strings. I D-tune my Taylor but find that .010's are too slinky and lack volume and tone. I tried .012's but my fingers couldn't take it. The Dean Markley .011's are perfect...great tone and playability and very reasonably priced.
