The V-Drums TD-1DMK is an electronic drum set with legendary Roland quality and durability, as well as double-mesh head pads for quiet drumming with great playing feel.

With a full-size drum stand for a realistic drum setup and quiet double mesh-head pads for low-noise without compromising stick resistance or feel, the TD-1DMK offers realistic sound and true-to-life response, with the ability to use genuine drumming techniques such as cymbal grab/choke and hi-hat tonal changes using the foot pedal. The TD-1DMK is a kit for anyone wanting to try drumming or perfect their skills, no matter their age or ability level.

The TD-1DMK faithfully responds to the subtle nuances of your playing - with every stick hit and all the dynamics detected and faithfully relayed, thanks to the fast processing and authentic acoustic sounds of the TD-1 module. And as you improve, the TD-1 module can keep up with you, reflecting your superior technique and expression. The dual-layer mesh heads for the snare and toms can be tension-adjusted and offer stronger stick resistance compared with other mesh heads, giving natural rebound and feel that's as close as possible to the feel of playing acoustic drum heads. Kick pedal feel and rebound is also important for your drumming - so the TD-1DMK is compatible with your choice of kick pedal (sold separately), while the soft rubber pad absorbs the energy from the beater, for a natural feel, faithful rebound and quieter performance.

If you think you might have drumming in your blood, the new V-Drums TD-1DMK will help you find it.

No rimshots, all the kick sounds suck (good luck recording), the crash started crapping out on me after just over a month of use so already needing warranty work. Use it for practicing or as a MIDI trigger kit if you're desperate (which will sound worse than the modules on here), I wouldn't suggest getting this for live play or recording, it's just a lightweight, quiet kit to have for fun, nothing serious.

its a great good quality entry level kit .. pads are very close to real drum feel ...turn down the sensitivity a bit id recommend this to beginners and medium players looking for the basics of practice and having fun .. the module itself is very basic limiting the dual zone features . if your and advanced drummer or recording artist / basic drummer id save your money and get something with a more advanced module .. unfortunately . that is the 2.5 k to 4 k price point. just the way it is . but with that better module comes more advanced pads adjustment options and dynamics ...

Bought this last week and couldn’t be more happier. Of course I wanted something better like TD-17 but don’t have the cash. Kit sounds great, hooks up to amp, records on computer. Module sounds great as expected from Roland. I’m 6’1” so the kit is a little tight but for the plan of using it 30mins a day until i develop my skills in able to expand into something better these is perfect. Plays super quiet or you can crank it up. My 6 year old loves it too. Great addition to the family. The wife hates it and that’s the man thing lol Looking forward to a few years of learning to drum on the TD-1DMK before moving on to something larger. Cheers. Happing drumming!

This is a great kit for playing quiet at home. The mesh heads are quiet and feel like a drum. The mesh and cymbals are very dynamic and the 15 onboard kits all sound useful and record great as is. Everything holds together solid and feels well made. The brain unit is very simple. 15 kits and 15 practice songs plus a bunch of training stuff no one cares about. You can set how dynamic you want each drum and that's about it. It's got a single 1/8 output and a 1/8 aux in. The brain on other less expensive kits offer more bells and whistles, but this one is solid and sounds great. If you want more kits plug in the USB and the world awaits. I wanted a simple home studio kit that I would not regret and that is what I got with this Roland.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, woodwind pads, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year. Pricing for used electronic products is 4% of the original new selling price.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: $40 flat rate up to $2,000 of current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years.
  • BRASS and STRINGS: 2% of the current new selling price above $2,000.
  • WOODWINDS: 4% of the current new selling price above $2,000.
