Texture Coated Head - 14''

5 models to choose from:
A coated, single ply, medium weight drumhead. The Satin Finish is the thinnest and most durable coating ever developed. Unlike conventional coatings it resists chipping and it lasts and lasts and lasts. It has an amazing stick and brush response and is great for snare drums and tom toms.

At 13.99$ for a snare head, the quality is amazing. They're durable, easy to tune and the coating is very good.
Highly recommend it.

I've always been a coated single ply kind of guy on my snare. I love ambassadors for their rich sound and tuneability but I always thought the G1 had a much more durable coating and were usually a little more affordable. I finally got my hands on some of these a few years ago and I was blown away. It gave me the the best of both worlds...the rich, crisp sound of Remo and a coating that is actually TOUGHER than Evans. They tune up in a breeze and I've tried them on everything from cheap steel shells to 10-ply maples to black beauties. It just works, sounds great doing it and has the BEST durability.

I used to have a cheaper drum kit, and I tried my best to select the better choice of head, to bring out the natural sound of the drums, and to reduce ring. I tried many heads, but the ones I liked the most, were the Aquarian texture coated heads. I had one on my snare, and it just amazed me. It was easy to tune, and gave the sound I was looking for in my snare. If I were you, I'd defiantly consider putting one of these on your snare, even with my new expensive kit, I still use Aquarian texture coated heads on them.
