Cette guitare bestiale présente une longueur d'échelle de 26,5" pour une meilleure articulation dans les basses fréquences, un corps en peuplier léger et résonnant avec un dessus arqué et un manche en érable boulonné avec renforcement en graphite et joint en foulard pour une stabilité solide comme la pierre. Avec ses 24 frettes jumbo et ses marqueurs de dents de piranhas, la touche en amarante à rayon composé de 12"-16" crée la surface de jeu idéale pour les riffs gras et les accords faciles près de le sillet en plastique noir tout en s'aplatissant progressivement dans les registres supérieurs pour les solos rapides comme l'éclair et les tirés larges sans crainte de s'effriter.

Alimenté par deux micros Jackson à haut rendement, le JS22-7 DKA HT est également équipé d'un commutateur à trois voies, de commandes de volume et de tonalité, d'un pont Jackson HT7 fixe, des clés scellés moulés sous pression et de notre tête 3x4 (3 au-dessus, 4 au-dessous) AT-1.

Le JS22-7 DKA HT est fini dans un fini Satin Black avec une quincaillerie entièrement noire.

This thing is nothing but perfect value. Pretty sure you can't beat it, to get a 7 string. Out of the box, I tuned up (strings slacked in shipping). Did the usual stretch up, slack down, tune up, many times lol repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat. I played it without adjusting the truss rod at all, and it sounded crispy. Not muddy at all. Got amazing sounds from amp simulators. Pretty much the same as the guitar I made, but better. I think pro/semi guitar players shouldn't review this. I might agree with that guy who said the tuners are garbage though. Every time I put it down for a while, it's waayy flat when I pick it up. I want to order some locking tuners, but I dunno. Looks like they'll take a long time to get here. Maybe I can sand the pegs I have, and re-string... lol Anyway, it's an awesome guitar. Get it.

Like many of the reviews here I’m going to rave about this guitar and for the price how impressive it is. But I bought this to mod entirely. First the tuners work but they are not the greatest quality but for this price range they are decent but I still plan to upgrade them to locking tuners. The pickups definitely do the trick. The cleans are surprisingly great honestly and I’m quite pleased with how the guitar sounded right out of the box but I still love my Seymour Duncan’s too much not to install a set. Maybe even upgrade the pots as well. But if you’re not crazy about modding guitars like I am this is a killer budget or first 7 string guitar. I love Jackson guitars for many reasons and this affordable beast is one of them.

All I got is the layman review here for ya. This is my first guitar bought ever so I don't know much about the difference between a 200 to 4000 dollar guitar, no idea. Trying to learn though. It's really nice to have a lower string to get those really low, Mick Gordon-esque vibes off something that's usually in the 800+ dollar range. I think Jackson will be my general go-to brand for guitars in the future!

My expectations were pretty tempered for this guitar, as I think yours should be. The standard "cheap guitar" issues are here; it flexes a bit more than I'd like, the first fret goes sharp a bit too easily, the tuners are *barely* usable and have a mile of backlash. There is some flub on the low end with the stock pickups, but lowering them a touch got a much more balanced sound that took to distortion well, as one would hope. It looks spartan; it *is* spartan.
But that said, it is *shockingly* usable. The fretboard is wide and comfy, fits nicely in my bassist hands. There is a bit of buzz taking that low B down to an A, but in the sort of context you play with Drop A in, you don't notice.
As has been previously mentioned; the price point here is just inexplicable. It's amazing how far manufacturing has come, and how much demand there is for extended range instruments, that you can get an instrument this decent for so cheap. It's even got a purpleheart fretboard and nitro finish! You struggle to get these things in instruments twice the cost!
If you can adjust to its eccentricities, and are okay with making some upgrades down the line, this is a brilliant option for people looking to get into extended range guitar.
(Replacement pickups and tuners will cost you almost as much as a second guitar, but it'll definitely perform like it costs twice as much, the fundamentals are that good.)

Nothing touches the JS22-7 in this price point. The neck is a real gem. The pickups are a little muddy but acceptable at this price. The biggest drawback is the tuners and nut, neither of which belong anywhere except a junk pile. The tuner and nut will get you through, but you eventually have to upgrade them. Otherwise it's an easy to play, great sounding 7 string. Be aware the satin finish will polish and wear quickly.

Considering that this guitar is only $250, the quality is unreal! I was curious about getting into 7-string, so when I spotted this guitar and all its amazing reviews (not just on here but all over the internet) I just couldn't resist. I've only had it for a few days now but I'm so glad that I got it. The guitar is lightweight but feels very well constructed. After a quick tune-up it actually played pretty great right out of the box. I've since lowered the action just a touch and now it feels even better. The pickups are definitely high output, and like a few others have mentioned they can be slightly muddy at times but they don't actually sound half-bad once you get them dialed in with some good EQ.

This guitar is excellent for anyone interested in getting into the 7 string world. Build quality is good overall, the only real issues I've had are the input jack nut not staying tight, and it could use some minor fretwork. The neck shape, body finish and hardware is all above average. It sounds great with both high and low gain, but clean is dull, I'd assume that most purchasers would not care too much about clean sound. Pick-ups could be easily upgraded anyway. I would highly recommend it, at this price point it is an excellent deal.

This guitar plays just as good as my 1000 dollar Jackson’s. Yes it doesn’t stay in tune the greatest but I haven’t put new strings on yet so it could just be the strings. Locking tuners are only about 100 bucks so get this and down the line get some locking tuners and this guitar kicks ass. But I mean from a guitar at this price point it has to be expected

ok I picked this up to dabble in 7 string lowend sound it delivers for sure dont try to use this guitar clean pickups not made for that at all played great out of box after a snark tuning session can finally chug some korn and others without drop tuning very happy its a must have

meilleure 7 cordes pour débuter, si vous voulez explorer cette bête-là! Très confortable à jouer, les pickups sont corrects pour le prix...Elle tient bien l'accord et surpasse bien des 7 cordes valant beaucoup plus cher! Je la recommande fortement!

Just bought this 7 string about a week ago and I can't put the thing down. It holds its tune pretty decent, the pickups are ok but I'll probably be upgrading them eventually but if you know how to dial in a tone you can still make them sound half decent. Its a whole lot of guitar for the price, I suggest picking one up if you want to dabble in some extended range guitars

Bought this about 2 months ago and I basically haven’t put it down. I purchased this to introduce myself to 7’s , never having owned one, And man am I supposed at the playability! The 26.5” neck makes for a good tone on the low A. I would definitely suggest picking up a new set of strings at the time of the purchase (10-52 + 64 works for me ) to increase the string gauges from stock. The neck sounds and feel really good for the price , but as you would expect the pickups could have a little more bit you can’t complain at this price point .... the upgraded pickups probably cost the same as the guitar ahaha

I rented this guitar for a month as I have never played 7 string before and I wanted to get the basics down before I bought one. What a MACHINE for the price point! I had my heart set on an Ibanez but this guitar will certainly have me considering a Jackson aswell. The neck is great, it plays very well (for my experience level) and honestly the pickups for a cheap guitar aren’t half bad either. I noticed the tone dial has almost no effect on the overall sound as the electronics are obviously cheap and it does need to be tuned quite often so those are really my only two complaints but again, it’s a 300$ guitar! I would highly recommend this guitar for anyone starting out on a seven string and not wanting to invest 2k right off the bat.

The fit and finish on this guitar is amazing for less than $300. The action and intonation right out of the box was perfect, I was blown away. Usually when I buy a new guitar I have to set it up, not necessary on this one.

For the price, you really can not complain about this guitar. About no need to upgrade the pickups, regret it or anything like that. The only thing I would change are the machine heads because they're cheap and don't stay in tune. But its entry level so that's fine. Just put some Grocers on it.

Features - Average-plus. It has 7 strings, and everything else is pretty bare-bones, but it is exactly what it needs to be. Pickups are good, controls are simple. The carves in the body are really nice. Satin black body looks great. Neck has minimal finish and is very wide and flat, and it's a longer scale than your typical Fender or Gibson, which all adds to playability. I like the tiny "pirahna tooth" fret markers. Quality: Average-plus, nothing flashy but it's all well put-together. Hardware is decent and doesn't feel cheap. Pickups are what some might consider "basic" but they are higher-than-average output and are more versatile than I was expecting. Nut is mediocre, but is totally fine for this price. Frets are okay, extra polishing wouldn't hurt. Value - Outstanding. It feels, sounds and looks like a much more expensive guitar, and as one of the few 7-strings at this price level it is easily worth every penny. Overall - Outstanding. Sounds amazing through a 5150 or Marshall - anything with heavy distortion. I have used it with metal amp simulation plugins in my DAW to get some really good "death metal" sounds. Clean it up a bit and roll the tone back and it makes for some killer "dark" blues, or go all the way in the opposite direction with some gnarly fuzz for some doom metal. I really like the sound of the middle switch position on a clean-ish channel, just on the edge of breakup, where it gives a really sweet Meters-like funk sound, which was not something I expected out of a guitar like this.

Ordered some tab books of a band that uses a 7 string, so on a whim I looked up what I could get for a "cheap" 7 string. Had one laid away immediately after I saw how cheap they go for. Played it all weekend and I am absolutely blown away at how good it feels. I also have and LTD Viper 1000, and this feels 90% as good as my Viper does to play. The one thing I will recommend is upgrading the strings (which I did and it now sounds awesome). The factory ones are too wimpy and sound kind of twangy. If you're looking to dip your toes into 7 strings, you cannot pick a better guitar. Jackson's value for money is unparalleled.

I play a Gibson LP and an ESP LTD 8 string and bought this 7 string on a whim. I saw it in the store for $259.00 and laughed but the sales guy said " Try it" It felt pretty good and the quality was a little better than I imagined. This is no Best Buy first act guitar. I have been wanting a 7 string and I saw some reviews for it and they were not half bad. I bought the darn thing and brought it home and put a set of Daddario NYXL's on it and plugged it into my Axe Fx 2 and I was shocked at how good it sounds. The tone is quite good for a metal guitar. No need to change the pickups. the scale length is also nice. A little smaller than my 8 string but still long enough for drop tuning. Now it is a cheap guitar and the tuners are pretty poor. 2 of them would not even turn all the way so I backed them off before winding the strings. There is likely debris in the gears from the manufacturing. The neck radius is also not what I am used to. It's quite flat and the nut is made from a very soft cheap plastic but that is easy enough to take care of. The fret work is good and no sharp edges and no buzzing strings anywhere on the neck. It was set up pretty well too. It's a nice looking guitar over all and feels good and is pretty light. They also threw in a free setup in the first year for signing up for the insider emails which is worth $75 alone. I can not imagine getting better value for $260. I would have never thought I would buy such a cheap guitar but this is an alright guitar and plays perfectly and sounds amazing. I am having a hard time putting it down. I have been playing guitar for 40 years and I have never come across a guitar in this price range that I would consider buying but this one changed that.

I bought this entirely as a one trick pony, mostly to get my metal riffs on once in a while. I own two EVH’s and a Charvel and have never played a 7 string until I bought this as a result of viewing a few YouTube videos. Wow. Almost makes me question why I spend so much money on guitars when something like this exists for $259, although to be honest I basically use only the top 4 strings. I actually like the sound of the neck pickup, it exceeded expectations. Tuners were fine after I stretched the original strings. Nut is plastic and will eventually need to be replaced, no biggy. Frets were fine, finish was fantastic. Absolute fantastic value.

For what it is this is a phenomenal steal of a deal. Sure the pickups are lacking a bit of girth... but seriously for $250?!?! Even dropping another $300 on better pups... you're still under the entry level Ibanez... which also needs upgrades... the multi-radius fretboard and the borderline baritone scale length make it a comfortable platform to jump off into the realm of extended range. My only gripe is the very estrogenic strings this beast ships with... no offense but 9's are way too light to even tune to drop A without getting extremely washed out tone. Grab a set of 10's at least if you buy.

Si tu cherches ta première guitare 7 cordes, c'est la bonne. Le prix est simplement inexplicable. j'ai essayé d'autres guitare 7 cordes d'entrée de gamme allant jusqu'à 600$ et cette guitare est LE meilleure choix, autant pour le prix, la qualité de construction et le son. Évidemment que ce n'est pas comme une guitare haut de gamme, mais tu feras un TRÈS BON bout de chemin avec cette machine de guerre. Personnellement j'ai mis des locking tuners et j'ai changé les pick-ups parce que je ne voulais pas changer de guitare. Les pickups de base sont "Muddy", mais si t'es du genre à jouer avec une BOSS Metal Zone, tu ne verra AUCUNE différence avec une guitare plus dispendieuse. Le profile du neck est mince, la guitare est légère pis une guit noir mât avec des inlays en dents de requins de même c'est sexy.

If you're looking for your first 7-string guitar, it's the right one. The price is simply inexplicable. I tried other guitar 7-string entry level up to $ 600 and this guitar is THE best choice, as much for the price, quality of construction and sound. Obviously it's not like a high-end guitar, but you'll do a VERY good end of the way with this war machine. Personally I put locking tuners and I changed the pick-ups because I did not want to change the guitar. The basic pickups are "Muddy", but if you're like playing with a BOSS Metal Zone, you will NOT see any difference with a more expensive guitar. The profile of the neck is thin, the guitar is light and a black guitar mast with shark teeth inlays and it's sexy.

J'ai eu cette guitare en cadeau. Je n'avais jamais joué avec une 7 cordes... J'ai beaucoup aimé la touche, les sonorités et le ''Look'' de cette guitare. Elle est beaucoup inspirante! Guitare de base, micros et autres quincailleries sont rudimentaires... Donc, ne pas s'attendre à une guitare de qualité de $1000.00 et plus. Mais vous serez impressionné par la qualité de cette dernière. Je vous conseille pour l'essai d'une 7 cordes avant d'acheter un modèle haut de gamme!

This guitar is amazing for it's price! it's got a dark menacing look with juicy curves , a nice sustain , with a lightweight body , a pretty slim and surprisingly flat rosewood fretboard. The pickups do the job and sound a LITTLE bit muddy on record but depending on your settings/EQs/amps , the whole tone might change. I'm still impressed by it. Every day , I get home from work @ 5:20pm and I stare at it for a while , wash my hands and jump on it. Every time I end up dropping it it's past 10:00pm. Just give it a shot and ear it by yourselves! 7string 250$.

C’est pourquoi Long & McQuade offre une année GRATUITE de sa Garantie de fiabilité sur la plupart de ses produits. Cette couverture, qui bonifie celle du fabricant, vous procurera la tranquillité d’esprit que vous recherchez.

En quoi la garantie Long & McQuade se distingue-t-elle de celles des autres fabricants?
  • Fiabilité assurée : l’usure normale de certaines pièces est couverte. Le produit fonctionnera aussi bien qu’au premier jour pour toute la durée de la protection. Pour les instruments d’orchestre, nos techniciens et techniciennes évalueront la nécessité d’effectuer un nettoyage en profondeur, un remplacement de tampons ou un nettoyage à ultrasons. Ces services ne sont pas offerts systématiquement dans le cadre de la Garantie de fiabilité.
  • Possibilité de remplacement : si votre produit est irréparable ou coûte trop cher à remettre en état, nous l’échangerons contre un modèle identique ou équivalent, sans frais supplémentaires. Si ce n’est pas possible, nous vous accorderons un remboursement complet.
  • Politique anticitron : si votre article présente un problème récurrent, nous le remplacerons.
  • Accessibilité : vous pouvez vous prévaloir de votre garantie dans n’importe quelle succursale Long & McQuade.
  • Réglage de guitare : une mise au point gratuite est incluse à l’achat de toute guitare neuve ou d’occasion.

Long & McQuade se réserve le droit de limiter l’achat d’années additionnelles. Les produits d’occasion sont protégés par la Garantie de fiabilité pour une durée de trois mois. Certains articles (logiciels, cymbales, etc.) sont couverts uniquement par la garantie du fabricant. Les biens non durables (cordes, anches, baguettes, piles, tubes, etc.) sont exclus, tout comme les dommages accidentels, la détérioration esthétique et les problèmes causés par l’humidité ou la température. Les haut-parleurs endommagés par un usage excessif ne sont généralement pas couverts. Notre garantie ne compense pas la perte de jouissance. A partir de juin 2018, la garantie de performance n'est plus transférable. Valide seulement au Canada.

 

Achat d’années additionnelles de garantie

Certains fabricants offrent une garantie de plus d’un an, mais qui est en général limitée et moins avantageuse que la nôtre. Lorsque c’est le cas, la prolongation de notre protection vous sera tout de même profitable, du fait qu’elle est plus complète et pratique.

Vous pouvez acheter des années supplémentaires de notre protection si vous souhaitez en profiter plus longtemps. Les tarifs sont les suivants :

  • Produits NEUFS : à partir de 4 % du prix actuel de l’article à l’état neuf par année supplémentaire.
  • Produits D’OCCASION : à partir de 4 % du prix actuel de l’article à l’état neuf pour passer initialement de trois mois à un an. À partir de 4 % pour chaque année de plus.
  • Guitares : 4 % du prix actuel de l’article à l’état neuf pour passer d’un an à deux. 4 % pour chaque année de plus. Tarif maximum de 45 $. Une mise au point gratuite supplémentaire n’est pas incluse avec l’achat d’années de couverture additionnelles.
  • Instruments d’orchestre : 4 % du prix actuel de l’article à l’état neuf pour passer d’un an à deux. 4 % pour chaque année de plus.
