These tubes do sound great, but they do not last at all, my pair lasted 3 months, and I dont even play everyday. At $40 per tube, they should last a lot longer than that; I've had other brands last years with no sound lost.

This tube made my Vox AC15C1, and Fender Vaporizer sound much more dynamic. It is great for both rhythm and leads as it tends to be very responsive to the input from the tone stack. With Gold Lion EL84's these amps are virtually noiseless (if biased correctly, like all output tubes), and have a wonderfully wide range while still singing when focused on a frequency range in the tone stage. Great for clean (if used with slightly softer preamp tubes), and THE BEST for distortion. I have four very different amps that take EL84's and I use (and have used) several different output tubes and these are simply the best, especially when in doubt.
