This tambourine sounds authentically full and rich. The build quality seems to be bang-on. The jingles are very broad, sonically - high and crisp, as well as deeper sleigh-bell tones. For a Rock Band, you might want to avoid this, because of its broad sonic spectrum. For a small, or large acoustic and/or earthy sounding combo, this might add a tasty flavour. I am very happy with this purchase, particularly because it's perfect for the album that I am working on currently.
