The straight end was deformed? Would not make contact in Ibanez SR500 Bass socket unless pushed in and held or pulled out slightly, at rest position there was no contact and no sound. The contact groove was too wide on the straight end and looked smaller on the 90 degree or the point was too short. The 90 degree end worked well in the Bass however that end is not good for the Ibanez configuration. I wanted the 90 at the amp so the cord did not get bashed by my office chair or other mishaps that may damage amp socket. Returned to Store, (great staff, no issues) who offered exchange. Upon inspection the gap appeared similar width (different than the 90 end) and the replacement may have the same issue. Yorkville DLX 20 (straight) I already had also works fine so I exchanged for another one of those. Its primary purpose besides the 90 was to hook up an MP40 SansAmp (YYZ) and 18ft as a spare should my original wear out. Its also more expensive for Black than the other colors.
