Put a set in my 1966 vintage garnet pro head and they are as nice as the vintage ge tubes. I highly recommend.

These EHX 6CA7 tubes should come standard with this 100 watt Traynor head. they have the clarity and head room of a 6550 and the early break up and crunch of a EL34. Makes this head sound like a Hiwat for a quarter the price. I put tung sol 12ax7 pre amp tubes in the preamp section. you can by the 6CA7 tubes as matched pairs.

Put a set in my Music Man 65, fired it up and smiled, the Crunch is back. Nice smooth transition, beautiful note definition and sustain.

i replace my almost new jj'el34 by the eh-6ca7in my hiwatt dr504 1973 and its like my amp get to life.jj's are fair good but the eh-6ca7 are el-34 on steroid.best match i found to date.
