The Merging Technologies Redundant Power Supply is specially designed for Hapi interface. The Hapi can be operated in a redundant way when using the standard AC power inlet and an external 12V DC adapter connected to the DC input of Hapi, in this configuration either power input can fail or be removed without creating any disruption in the device's operation.
