I got this to accompany guitars etc in a jamming circle. After a bit of practice I am liking it very much.
It sounds like 1) a harmonica, minus the bending and slurring but with a full chromatic range; or 2) an accordion, minus the complexity of two hand fingering but with a more expressive sound thanks to your variable breath.
Find a place away from people where you can practice honking and squawking, before long you will be blowing interesting riffs that make you sound like an Italian Neil Young.
