installed these in my old 70's Garnet amp, they brought my amp back to life. Really tamed the highs and the mids, lifted the bass response but clear with more crunch! It's not just hype....Very, very happy with these tubes. I have them paired with 2 Mullard EL84's and a 12" Celestion Vintage 30 speaker.

I replaced the stock Russian Groove Tube 12AX7 in V1 of my Fender Princeton 65 Reverb Reissue with an EH 12AX7; a noticeable improvement - smoother, less harsh, deeper bass, fuller etc.
I moved the EH to V3 replacing a Bugera 12AX7C and put the Tung-Sol in V1; I couldn't say that there was any noticeable improvement or difference but my amp sound amazing.

I replaced the Sovtek 12AX7WA tubes with Tung Sol. The amp is warmer, I have the sound I want without spending a fortune on NOS tubes.

I switched to these Tung Sol tubes about 7 years ago and haven't looked back since. I tend to play more clean sounding guitar tones, bordering into break up territory (rockabilly, surf, early rock n' Roll etc.) and for me these are just perfect in tone and feel. I've used them in Fender Princeton reissues, Gretsch Executive (Victoria Amps), Fender Blues Jr. Vox A/C 15's and now the Tone King Galaxy. They've never let me down, are consistent, warm and clean, and overall the best preamp tubes I've found or used so far in my 20 years of playing and fiddling with amps. I've found (for my playing and tone) that the stock Fender Groove Tubes are a little harsh, a little too distorted sounding, and compared to those tubes, these Tung Sol tubes feel a lot more refined, clean and clear, musical and also more reliable. The 12AX7, 12AT7, 5AR4 at least for sure. They're not too high priced, so worth trying out if you are frustrated with you stock or old original tubes.

I put these in my Fender Deville 410 and they sound amazing. The drive channel sounds so good now. The stock tubes have nothing on these.

I use Tung Sol's in everything. They're in my Dual Rec, Blackstar, SVT-CL, 5150, F50…….. I should sell an amp or two……..
Can't find a better tube for clarity, gain, and all around musicality. Unless specific issues are common (ie: don't use it in V4 position in a Dual Rec, the FX loop doesn't agree with them) they're in every valve position. I keep a stockpile of them. Their power amp tubes are just as stellar too.

I thought I would stick the tube only in V1 and leave the phase inverter stock or with a lower gain tube but I am amazed at how well these tubes sound with the amp. I thought the stock was excellent (some generic Chinese) but these were even better. I've tried the GT 12ax7r and the 12ax7c as well but these take the win. The gain is indeed very linear as described and it is not harsh but very smooth coming from this amp. I am definitely getting these tubes from now on.

Bought to replace some aging General Electric tube from the 60's. Along with new 6F3P russian output tubes these made a GIANT difference. I can't believe the sound is coming from my old Belcor Amp.

Bought a set of 5 for my Mesa Lonestar Special ... what a difference these make over regular Mesa branded 12AX7's. Purchased because they would give a little more gain than stock tubes, and they sound great, more sustain and q touch more gain.
I'm going to get 5 more for my Mesa Recto-verb!!
I definately recommend these tubes!!

I bought these for my Marshall TSL602 and wow what a difference. I used the original Marshall tubse then went to JJ ECC83 and now to the Tung Sol and the Tung Sol as by far the best sounding tube. Lots of bottom end which is great in bright Marshall combos. Warm, fat tone, nice mids smooth highs and tons of gain. I paired these with SED Winged "C" EL34 power tubes and the combo is awesome.
