Problems:
Bought it in 2016. Lost a few screws after 2 years of use. Found screws that fit. Then the plate bent in 2019 and was no longer touching the sensor, I had to bend it more so that it triggers the sensor. Last month, it broke again. The sensor was working intermittently as if a connection was loose. All the wires were correctly welded, but I was never able to find the issue.
Really noisy:
The M-Audio was quite noisy also after 2 years of use. It made a lot of squeaky noises and had to put some lubricant on all the components to stop it as it was really loud when practicing with my band.
Overall:
I would not recommend the M-Audio as the quality is kinda cheap. Does the job, but not for more than 2 years of use... The only big upside of the M-audio is that it is compatible with all keyboard models (because of the polarity switch).
What you should buy instead:
I decided to buy another model (Apex AFP7) and it seems more robust overall than this model for the same price. The AFP7 also has a polarity switch so it is compatible with all keyboards, just like the M-Audio. The AFP7 feels better also if you play standing since it is more large and there are less chances of the pedals falling on its side if you play standing and on stage.

This is a foot pedal. It’s a big switch, not rocket science. The actual build is quite nice and the action is decent, but I think they cheaped out on the switches inside. The cable is awful quality and the cable strain relief is laughable.
I’ve had mine for two weeks and it already has an issue where it will randomly lift the pedal mid hold and then resume sustain. When I hooked it up to GarageBand you can see a bunch of sustain pedal movements when I hadn’t moved my foot off the pedal!
I think it’ll be going back to the store...

I had this pedal for 3 years not issues, just the other day it started to work intermittedely then stopped working. So I took it apart and inspected it. first problem was the cable was not secured tightly the cable it self had a crack in the wire. I tested the two switches and they were good. I bypassed the external switch and only soldered to the down press switch. the other switch is now a working spare. The pedal now works great with my Yamaha keys.

Own two pedals. Worked fine for a couple of years... then issues with the intermittent "sustain always on/no sustain at all" response they would occasionally deliver. I believe the problem may be in the cable. If you tweak the cable while engaging the pedal.. might find the problem. Still annoying if they cheaped out on perhaps the easiest part.. but perhaps a replace of the cable and 1/4 jack would do the trick.

This is a decent pedal for as long as it lasts, but don't expect more than a couple years of of it. Have owned two of these and they both failed at the same time frame and at the same point of failure inside the pedal hinge. I have other brand pedals for decade or more, these ones are not built to last.

I purchased this pedal for my Yamaha MOX 8 Keyboard. It appears to be very well made and solid and worked well for about a month, then it started malfunctioning intermittently. Luckily this happened during a band rehearsal and not during a live performance! I've replaced it with a Roland DP10 pedal, which cost a bit more, but seems to have far better reviews (re: durability.)

I've been using this pedal since 3 years in church. Haven't had issues till date. Had a Yamaha PSR and now I'm playing on a Korg Pa900. Never had problems with either of the keyboards.
I wanted one for home use and I bought an On-Stage damper pedal from best buy first. Even though it worked the quality wasn't good. Returned that back and bought this one from L&M. The sound quality is excellent. Never knew that sustain pedal sound quality could differ.

Bought this today to have a 2nd pedal to supplement my Korg DS-1H pedal, as I was getting tired of moving the DS-1H constantly from my Krome (my "practise/live piano") to my MIDI controller (my "production keyboard"). Given the numerous reviews online that seemed to say they were happy with the PS-2, and given its significantly more affordable price (the Korg pedal is indeed awesome, but is 90 bucks), I thought it would be worth trying.
I've already played with it for a few hours solid and I am pleasantly surprised to say that it has greatly exceeded my expectations. The pedal action is nice -- a little stiffer than my Korg pedal, sure -- but still has a very "piano pedal" feel to it. I've tried it with both my Krome and my Acorn Masterkey 49 MIDI controller, and it works seamlessly with both -- no issues or differences to note whatsoever.
Unless the thing breaks down anytime soon (and I find that hard to imagine, given its pretty sturdy construction), I think that I have to agree with the mass of online reviewers who gave this pedal some support. Especially given its low price, this is a perfect choice for a journeyman production (and probably even a live performance) pedal.
Glad to have saved 60 dollars!

I like this pedal. Works great and have not had problems. The polarity switch is excellent since I have Nord, Roland and Korg keyboards. I don't have to worry which pedal I need to bring to a gig.

I've gone through 2 of these pedals in the past few years. They are horribly made. They either fall apart, or they simply stop working when you press the pedal.
And I'm not the only person with issues with this pedal. Everyone I know with this pedal has the same issues aswell.
