Studio Projects C4 - Hypercardioid Capsule

Studio Projects C4-Hyper is a replacement detachable-capsule for the C-4 pencil mic built by 797 Audio in China.
Like most of the mics in the Studio Projects line, the C4 was redesigned in 2006 by Brent Casey of PMI Audio. According to Casey, the revised C4 has a new amplifier circuit designed for high headroom; the mics circuit can withstand 139 dB SPL with no pad, or 159 dB SPL with the optional non-capacitive pad engaged.
