Mammoth slinky have been specifically developed for ultra-low tunings including drop A, drop B and C standard while providing the same iconic tone and feel Slinkys are known for. Mammoth Slinky strings are ideal for players who prefer a powerful and heavy set of strings delivering punishing low end and a brutally thick tone with optimal tension and definition. I'd go heavier if you're going lower than C standard.

The string set is great, and obviously not many people are going to think this way, but I personally would prefer heavier strings for anything below a C2 on the 0.62. The strings themselves are fine, they're great for chugging, the winding is excellent, but if you're someone who likes very high tension on low tunings, I'd go for 13s. Either way, I love the wound G on these. Very comfortable to play, and surprisingly easy to bend (if that's your thing).

just use or add the number 10 gauge on your highest string E then use the mammoth slinky strings set on the remaining upto your lowest drop A strings and your all set for chugging!
