Do not buy the Mallet Station if you are a decently skilled mallet player. Unless you have many hours to waist tying to get it to sound even close to an acoustic mallet instrument.
It does not play well and oddly enough you can not get a vibraphone sound to come out of it. Do not bother playing fast because it can not distinguish between the notes fast enough. After wasting hours of frustrations I am returning it to the store. I mistakenly thought it would be a lighter option for hauling to rehearsals and gigs.
