Once you start getting into outboard gear, you will quickly run into the need for a patch bay and this one delivers solid performance for a reasonable price. It has two modes, normal and half-normal, instead of three like some patch bays, but they are the two you will need 99.9% of the time. No degradation in sound, solid connectors, really simple and reliable. Grab a set of balanced Hosa patch cables and you're good to go.

I've gone through the typical Neutrik bay, even moved up to a 96 point bantam (which are supposed to be the top) and had issues with both over the years. This ART one is still trouble free and showing no signs of crackling or any other issues. I feel l will continue with 1/4" over the TT and am grabbing another PB48 to expand my i/o.
