Mapex P1000TW - Falcon Double Pedal with Bag

The Falcon single (P1000), right-handed double (P1000TW)and Left-handed P1000LTW (SKU#383103)are new pedal designs from Mapex. Their hollow inox steel drive shafts offer strength without adding unwanted drag or excess weight, which creates a natural feel. The pedals torque-free spring mechanism moves independently to keep the stroke and recoil motions smooth.

The Falcons Talon clamp adjustment can be tightened with one hand from a seated position and features locking claws that move independently from the pedal frame. So even if the bass drum is pitched at a severe angle, the pedal remains flat to the floor and securely clamped to the drum.

The Falcon is equipped with interchangeable cams to suit each players individual style. The Glide cam offers an equal amount of inertia from the beginning to the end of the stroke, while the Pursuit cam is recommended for increased power and maximum impact. The reversible beater head comes with interchangeable 10 gram and 20 gram inserts. By selecting one of these weights (or playing without any additional weight at all), users can choose the desired degree of centrifugal force.
