Professional guitarists in all musical genres have relied on the Fender Telecaster guitar since its early 1950s introduction for its powerful tone and smooth playability. The Standard Telecaster combines the best of old and new, with hotter single-coil pickups, shielded body cavities, medium jumbo frets, six-saddle strings-through-body bridge, cast/sealed tuners, tinted neck, parchment pickguard and control knobs, and 70s-style headstock logo.

I am loving this Tele! Build quality is great for the price, makes those great Tele tones, and plays really well. I was considering a Squier Classic vibe, but for not much more money I decided to go with the Fender name. For the amount of money saved over any of the USA made versions you have money left over for a quality tube amp, pedals, or another great Mexican made guitar! Only complaint in the stock strings are the dirties new strings ive ever played...all my fingers are covered in black after 30 mins of playing.

everything on this instrument is solid. huge ugrade from my previous guitar. im not sure if there is a better guitar under $1000. My only gripe is that it came w nothing. No polishing cloth, gig bag, picks, nothing. not even the box it was shipped in.
