Description
The HERCULES Triple Guitar Stand GS432B PLUS accommodates three instruments and features the foldable Auto Grip System (AGS) yokes, Instant Height Adjustment Clutch, Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) padding contacts and the adjustable back rests.
• The attached N.I.N.A. (Narrow Instrument Neck Adjustment, HA301) are specially designed to increase the thickness of AGS arms to accommodate narrow neck instruments from min. 28 mm (1.10") like banjos and mandolins
• The Instant Height Adjustment Clutch with Locking Pin adjusts stand height quickly, easily and securely
• The Folding Back Rests with multi-angle position adjustment support the instrument securely and fold up securely for travel

Like other reviewers, I loved the stand but after several years had similar problems, including the deteriorating rubber grip and brittle plastic, along with a ratcheting mechanism that was not trustworthy. I too was about to 'bin' the stand. However, after reading Steve's review, I contacted Hercules directly. After describing my problems and submitting pictures, I was issued the new improved stand as a replacement at no cost. This a brand that definitely stands behind their products and one I can heartily recommend!

Great stand while it lasted (almost 7 years). However, like some others have posted, the rubberized covering slowly deteriorated, going completely gummy. Finally, the latch mechanism housing for the height adjustment just exploded (very brittle plastic) when I was moving the empty stand, making it completely useless. Such a waste. Not recommended.

My Strat and Tele were certainly not secure, even with the provided accessory. However, I trust it with three heavy Gibsons and two Corgis knocking about. Excellent build quailty.

This stand sets up in seconds, and is very solid and stable. The design is brilliant, very secure and releases quickly when you lift an instrument from the stand. The little rubber adaptors work perfectly to hold a narrow neck instrument like a mandolin. It balances well whether you hang acoustic or electric instruments, no slippage in height, no teetering from side to side. Looks like a great buy at this point.

For the first 3 years, it was a great piece of engineering, however the rubber/plastic grip soon became very sticky and literally fell apart. I had barely used it or moved it. I thought my child had spilled cola on it but after trying to clean it, the grip was still very sticky. It's actually decomposing! Apparently I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. I think Hercules should offer some kind of reimbursement or discount towards another product.

I would like to point out that there was an issue with these but they changed the design.
The reviewer that threw his out could have received a free replacement like I did. They stand behind their products!!!
This stand is solid and is perfect for the Rhoads, Warrior, Kelly and other odd shaped guitars.

I’ve had this stand for several years, and it works great...only one problem:
the plastic (or whatever it is) around the grip adjustment decomposes, becomes sticky (awful on the hands) and renders the stand unusable (I just threw mine out).

I just bought this yesterday. This is one of the best triple guitar stand money can buy. I would give a 5/5 all the way except for the ridiculous price.
Yes, I understand completely that you get what you pay for, but at $127 tax in, it is WAY overpriced.
