AMP-150 Product Breakdown:
Three-position, Tilt Stand.
Boom Attachment is standard.
Stable and Portable.
Patented Leg Locking System.

Three-position Tilt Stand
Featuring three tilt positions, you can aim your amp exactly where you need it when using an AMP-150 amp stand. You'll be able to hear high frequencies at much lower volume levels on stage and in practice and the sound guy will have better control over FOH sound since your amp is no longer facing directly forward.

Boom Attachment Standard
There's no need to carry an additional mic stand when using an AMP-150. There's a built-in mic boom attachment at the top of the stand! Just add your favorite boom arm and microphone, and you're ready to rock.

Stable and Portable
The AMP-150 is one piece that quickly folds into an ultra compact, 3.5" x 18" unit. Take your stand anywhere and never lose parts again! And, the sturdy tripod base holds up to 75 lbs!

Patented Leg Locking System
Genesis Series guitar and amp stands feature a unique, patented leg-locking mechanism. When setting up the stand, unlock the legs, unfold and lock the legs in place for worry-free stability and strength. When finished with the gig, unlock the legs, fold, and lock for easy, compact portability. The ingenious leg lock eliminates "floppy leg" syndrome.

Per my previous review, the rubber feet wear out eventually and do need to be replaced. Everbilt 3/4 inch rubber feet will fit the front two legs. Everbilt 5/8 inch rubber feet will fit the rear (telescoping) leg if you extend the leg, the extended leg is narrower than the side ones. Canadian Tire and Home Depot carry these in Edmonton. Price is around $5.99 for a set of 4.

Gigged with one of these weekly for four years and mine still works well. You have to make sure it's locked or it will collapse when you put your amp on it. I've done it a couple of times. The rubber feet can only survive so much pounding of metal on rubber. I just ordered three new rubber feet for $9. I picked up a second one at L and M today, one for home amp, and one for playing out. The stand works well with my 12" combos.

I bought 2 of these for a stereo set up and they both ended up breaking down. The plastic clip to hold the stand in place doesn't work after a month or two. It happened to both stands. Don't bother buying this stand.

Very Flimsy and after about a year of use the locking mechanism would no longer hold, resulting in the thing collapsing unexpectedly during gigs. I ended up destroying it in a rage after one such occasion. I've actually owned two of these at one point and had the same issue...AVOID!

Overall quality is decent but it's like the rear leg was an afterthought. Too bad because if it was set up the same as the front legs with a more positive lock it would be great.
The rear leg relys on friction between it's stamped end and the plastic locking knob to stay in the locked position. It's kind of wobbly and feels weak. A simple fix like adding a piece of rubber over the stamped leg end would make this stand waaaaay better. Dumb.
I would not recommend this based on that one rear leg. If you're a gigging musician, this will probably break first or second show. Get the Boss BAS-1.

I bought two, both broke after a couple gigs. The locking mechanism just isn't sturdy. A real shame, since I loved how compact they were, and how easy they were to set up.

I only used this a handful of times. It broke while setting up a gig this past weekend. Super frustrating. The back leg forces the locking mechanism to fail and the stand falls completely backwards. This thing folds up super tight and has the perfect angle for using your amp as a monitor (so that the sound doesn't shoot past your legs). Very sturdy when it works. Great concept but engineered/manufactured poorly. Looking for another alternative as we speak.

This is a great little stand that works really really well. I would watch the weight on this stand. My VOX AC 15C1 sits really well on the stand. It is 54 lbs and I understand that it can hold a lot more. However, I would take that with a grain of sand and be a bit more conservative and it would probably hold up to a 75 lb amp. The nice thing about the stand is that it ism compact and fits into a small box that came with it. Easy to transport.

Bought this unit for my 55 lb amp. Worked well for 2 gigs and then the locking mechanism broke. Based on the other reviews it seems to be a problem with this design

Had this mighty stand for a few years, held on to my Marshall JCM 800 and now my messa boogie mark IV 35 without any issue. The rubber feet need to be replaced which I see as normal wear and tear. Be mindful of the weight capacity and there shouldn’t be a problem.

I wanted to get my amp off the floor, and tilted up with a stand that could collapse and fit in my bag of tricks with my pedals and cables. Perfect. This does it. For a few months. The brittle plastic locking mechanism snapped and now it's useless. Very sturdy except for perhaps the most important part. Save your money.

bought one and worked well bought 2 more. all broken in matter of 2 weeks. Nothing more irritating then setting your tube amp down on this stand and 2 minutes late watching it fall backwards on floor! grrr If your going to try this, price out tubes for your amp first. probably not cost effective.

It worked for a few months on light amps (princetons) but the clip won't hold and now it's garbage. I have two of them and they both broke within the span of a year.

Small yet sturdy, will accept many kinds of combos or speaker cabs as long as they are not too heavy or deep. The mic boom socket is a neat idea.
