I’ve tried almost anything that’s available out there. The Elixir Nanoweb PB on my dreadnoughts and Jumbos give me what I need: Great warm tone and no finger skweak. They last quite a long time as well so they are worth it.

I use these on a couple of my guitars and always keep track of when they're changed. I just changed a set on my OM 28 after 19 months (yes 1 year 7 months). Your mileage may vary. They still sounded good but were starting to wear.

I bought a Taylor GS Mini close to a year ago, it came with Elixer strings, I used to change strings about once a month , the Elixers are still on the guitar from new, and still sound great.
I’ll never even consider any other string.

What a difference when I switched over to these strings. The fingers seem to roll off the strings a hundred percent better. Even makes strumming easier. Well worth the price.

Elixir strings have the worst tone out of any I've tried. They do last longer than other strings and seem well made but the sound they produce is dull and uninspiring.

These strings have great tone for a long time and I have used them for years. But, I went to pack a guitar for a trip, and found I had four spare sets, all missing the G string, as I keep breaking solely that one string. I do frequently change from standard to open tunings, but rarely do I change the G. My next purchase will be a different brand of coated strings, and hopefully this trend will cease.

Have used Elixir Strings for the last 15 years and have tried others but keep coming back to the Elixir Strings Acoustic Phosphor Bronze Guitar Strings with NANOWEB Coating, 12-String Light. They help give the guitar a nice rich sound and are easy to play on and have a longer playing life.

I put these strings on because I always sweat when I play guitar and the guy recommended them to me. Turns out I I got 10s instead of 11s... I figured I would just use then until they died... That was in June... Its now April of the next year and the strings are still in the same shape they were when new... I removed them because I need my 11s! I am sure they would have lasted until June..

I recently bought a little martin expecting what I got, but when I put these strings on it sounded phenomenal! They enhance the tone and are very crisp sounding! Sure they are a bit pricy, but they're 100% worth the twenty bucks!

I won't use anything else. I've tried the other brands to exhaustion, and I ALWAYS come back to these strings. Wish they weren't so expensive but you get what you pay for.

These strings sound great on my acoustic. These strings do cost more than your average strings but they do definently work very well, and luckly i rarely break strings or have the need to always change them.

I used these strings on my Martin D16GT and on my Washburn acoustic guitar. The strings feel great to play - smooth and easy to move your fingers around. They have the feel of a good quality string. Overall, I really enjoyed the playability and the sound. The strings 'brightened' the sound of the Martin, which was fun for a while. I found that they really improved the sound of my Washburn. The quality of the sound of this guitar increased dramatically with the Elixirs. (louder, fuller, brighter) I have not tried them on my HD28, as that is not the direction I am looking to go with that guitar. As has been stated, it comes down to preference. They do cost a little more, but they also seem to last longer too. I will buy them again, for sure.

They play, feel, and sound good for a real long time. Is it possible for strings to be too bright? They are certainly crisp when new, but that settles down once you sweat on them a bit.

Overrated string. Like the other comment I have the same experience. The strings that came with my seagull guitar which is d'addario sounds a lot better. But again depends on players taste.

Heard good things about them so i threw them on my Martin D35, Had Martin Lifespan SP on it before. The elixir strings had a bit nicer feel to them but not nearly the same bite or volume to them. All comes down to personal preference, but i will throw martin strings back on next time.

These are the only acoustic strings I've used for the past 5 years. Triple the price of most, but if you take care of them, they last forever and keep their tone. I was skeptical at first, worried the coating would make for dull strings, but these are as bright as any string and stay that way for over a year. In fact the only time I change them is when they get dirty or one breaks.

I use them on my yamaha acoustic and they have enhanced the tone of the guitar a lot. My guitar sounds brighter than it used to. Lasts at least 2-2.5 months.
