Answer: We wouldn't advise you try to support a laptop with it. You may be able to but it is not recommended. We would recommend a product like the Samson LTS50 Heavy Duty Laptop Tripod Base Stand instead.

This little clamp on stand is perfect. It's the simplest set-up ever and is very adjustable. The tray is fairly compact, but big enough to hold an open binder with no problems. Great K&M quality too.
