The Waza-Air personal amplifier system brings stunning realism to playing with headphones. Its revolutionary design uses a gyro sensor and moving 3D space to deliver natural "amp-in-room" tone that's rich, resonant, and infinitely inspiring. All-wireless connectivity means there are no cables to slow you down, and you can stream music from your phone and play as if you're performing on stage in a full band. And with the BOSS Tone Studio app, you're able to craft custom sounds with five amp types and over 50 different effects.

For most of us, playing guitar through headphones is necessary to avoid bothering others. Unfortunately, they lack the depth and presence of playing a real amp in a real room, resulting in a less-than-satisfying experience. Waza-Air changes all that, restoring the natural dimension, resonance, and "moving air" feel that's lost with traditional phones. An integrated gyro sensor tracks your head movements as you play, driving sophisticated 3D algorithms that provide spatial realism that must be heard to be believed. And it all happens automatically, so all you have to do is plug in and go!

Like the title says, sometimes I forget I am wearing headphones. The clarity, detail, sound separation and fidelity are beyond compare.

This is a spectacular product and not unlike previous reviews, I never leave comments but feel I should on this product. The tones are awesome, and the ease of just picking up and playing in a moment is worth the $600 ish price tag. And best of all no one else can hear me so the house stays quiet. Only negative is the plug into the guitar doesn’t fit into an angled input (strat style) so I bought a small converter and that works fine. Buy it, you will not regret. And your family will thank you.

I had been eyeing Waza Air headphones for a couple of months and decided to buy myself the best Christmas present ever. I never write reviews but felt compelled to after spending some time with Boss’ Waza Air Headphones. Absolutely incredible product. Great for practising and has quickly become my favourite piece of gear. I can now play for hours at a time at any volume I want with all the great sounding effects I want without bothering anyone. Intuitive interface, great sounding and killer effects! They make a great tool for learning too.. you can play along while watching videos clips or audio tracks too. Highly recommended.

Bought a katana head and some headphones for silent playing while in hotels etc while at work, was awesome but inconvenient to transport and the cable was not good. Finally ponied up the cash for these, love them. So easy, it’s an amp in a headphone and the wireless is killer. Some quirks with the connection but a quick unplug from your guitar and plug back in and connection is restored. It’s weird but I can use these dozens of times and never have any issues and then have a connection issue but like I said it’s easily fixed and I can’t remember it happening twice in one session. They are pricey but I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Couldn’t really rate them lower than 5s, they don’t have a competitor to raise the bar.

These are wonderful for practice; you can also easily play along with tracks that are on your iPhone/itunes or YouTube apps. The gyro/amp position movement is a bit gimmicky (interesting, but when you're actually playing on a stage, every time you turn your head the whole of your sound doesn't shift to one side); I use this on the basic surround setting. The clean is amazing, and also with a bit of crunch. The lead sounds can be a bit 'synthetic' sounding, but still really good and to be honest I haven't played with the myriad settings available yet. There are also many many effects built into the app (even things like Univibe...). Pricey, but if you want to play along to tracks, or not annoy others in the house/apartment building, these are a great solution. Highly recommended.

Human nature being what it is ( lazy, at least for me ) ensures that these get used . The convenience alone makes these worth buying. Very , very happy with the build and sound quality. It being a Boss product ensures that they will stand behind it. No 5 stars for features as there is a bit of an issue with “ drifting “ in the static and stage settings. I use Surround 99% of the time anyway. No latency that I can notice. The app works great too. Lots of evening playing since I got these.
