To avoid an argument with the wife that I'm spending more money on music stuff, I bought these. Didn't even survive the tuning. The 1st string (E) snapped on the initial seating/stretching. Now I'm on the way back to LM to get something with a bit more back bone.

These are the strings for when you've hit rock bottom, and all you have is your guitar with you at the homeless shelter, they'll give you these skanky-strings along with your bar of soap, roll of TP, toothbrush and towel.
And when I put them on my Gibson 59 Les Paul, it literally sounded like someone vomited inside the tone of it, and stunk up it's gorgeous frequencies which got me tossed from the band Creed.
So, trust me, Pay the five extra bucks and get the Rotosounds that all come with the free high 'E' string for guitarist's, or the Gibson Vintage NIckel strings for creamy warmth, so you won't embarrass yourself in front of your friends anymore.
