Many cheaper iPad digitizers (that utilize the headphone jack) feedback some of the output into the input. This one doesn't, thus letting you use it for multitrack recording. Works great with all iPad audio apps (eg Garage Band). Pricy, but works well for recording. Low latency makes it very usable with guitar pedal simulator apps.
