silky smooth, they do are a little louder than regular strings, best used in rock, metal, modern playing style. they help you sound throught the mix
they are well worth the extra cost of the regular slinkys, but they're still under 40$ att the time im writing this review.
they deliver excellent balanced tone, and lifespan, its been 3 months already and they still sound very decent.
Ernie ball advertises an INCREASED output.. well its kinda true... if i could give a number that would be about 15%. How do i know this? i had to re-set my compression pedal to new output.
my bass is an Ibanez SRX695DX
I recommend to everyone, i will buy again.
