When it was introduced in 1994, the Kun Collapsible shoulder rest quickly became the shoulder rest of the future. Modelled on the Kun Original, the innovative Kun Collapsible has "feet" that fold down for easy carrying and storage, and incorporate Kun's patented locking device.

Overmoulded forks with the latest in elastomer technology provide a strong grip on the instrument and screw allows for height adjustment.


Patented Collapsible End Members adjust horizontally; drums swivel. Patented locking device limits rotation.

I love this shoulder rest, it has improved my playing a lot! It's very secure on the violin - doesn't fall off (you just have to adjust the length 1-2 cm shorter than the violin's width) and it slips on easily too. The height and angle adjustments are also great. My neck is is on the long side so being able to adjust the upper and lower heights seperately helped a lot in my violin position. Oh as well, I used to be able to play only 30 minutes before my neck started feeling weird (with the old no-name shoulder rest), but with this one, I can play for hours!
