We tried X and Z stands with our Roland FP30x keyboard but the 4 legged Yorkville was the best suited to the task. It is well made, sturdy, stable and well priced.
The non adjustable Roland piano bench is a little low so you might need a thin pad to boost for height or purchase an adjustable bench or stool. Otherwise height is not an issue for my wife and I who are 5’6” and 6’0”. Always a pleasure buying from L&M Markham.

Bought this guy to replace my Z stand for my master controller, the very heavy 50lb RD2000, under my makeshift studio desk. Not sure what the review about it not being the right height for sitting and playing is talking about - this stand works great for playing while sitting! Very sturdy stand with minimal wobble when playing. Even though it very easily slides in and out from under the desk, it does not budge when playing with force.

This is a great keyboard stand and using it for my full weighted 88 keyboard and is extremely stable. I feel confident that it will hold my keyboard in place. I had another type of stand and it made me nervous to let go of the keyboard. Great buy for sure. p.s. the picture online didn't do it justice - it is more stable looking than the picture would indicate.

This is a very solid, high quality stand. But it doesn’t adjust low enough to play seated. My keyboard at the lowest point For the stand sits at 31 inches.
Returning to find one that adjusts for seated play.

On the recommendation of a musician, we bought this stand along with the recommended keyboard. This thing is solid, flexible, compact for carrying and overshadows any other wobbly stand.
Have bought two.

This is the best keyboard stand I have ever used. I liked the first one so much that I bought another. I use one for my ultra heavy vintage combo organ and one for a 88 key stage piano with no worries. These stands are solid as a rock, stable and fold up for easy storage and transport. Thanks Yorkville!

Very good stand for the price. The only detail I could complain about is that the extensions that make the legs adjustable are slightly loose in the larger tube, but that does not really create any problem. Also, for 61-key keyboards this stand is a bit too wide, the legs stick out too much, as the width of the center part cannot be adjusted. What I did is cut 3 1/4 inches from the horizontal part of each leg assembly, there are multiple holes like if it was made for that! The shorter swing-out leg assemblies make the 61-key keyboard sit nicely.

As a piano playing amateur, I have been using the X-stands for years on many different keyboards. Took a chance with this, as I did not know there were stands like this. I was under the impression that x-stands was all there was for keyboards. I got this stand and I was amazed, very stable and sleek looking. X-stands just give you anxiety by how wobbly they are. GET THIS STAND!

Most stable stand yet. Use 2. One holds a vintage Clavinette D with ARP Axe sitting on top of it, the 2nd holds a Roland 88 note digital piano with weighted keys, along with 2 ties that hold a KORG M1 synth and the other is converted to a music rack that holds heavy binders of charts and notes. Extremely stable and very flexible setup criteria that allows non symmetrical leg arrangements and far greater back to front depth to support items such as large mixing consoles.

Way better than the x-type folding stands that shake and wiggle if you're hard on the keys at all. Solid as a rock and folds up quickly into a convenient easy-to-carry piece. Perfect for 88 key units but might not work as well for smaller keyboards

This is holding a Korg 88 key work station that weighs 51 lbs and it is super solid and stable. There is no movement when hitting the keys. Also, there's enough room for my feet to use pedals without hitting a leg. Would recommend this stand!!!
