It's hard to get emotional about something so utilitarian. It's a desktop mic stand. It sits on my desk and holds my microphone. Solid and stable. It's exactly what I expected. The black colour goes nicely with my office decor.

bought this because they didn't have the rode's broadcast arm, as a desktop mic stand it works well, but it is the perfect paper towel holder heavy enough that when you pull on it it doesn't tip. all while having enough friction against the tube to allow one handed tearing.

Solid, heavy base, adjustable height that tightens and stays, it holds my condenser mic without a problem. I do wish it had more range of height adjustment, but that is minor—next time I’ll get a full mic stand! It works well for recording vocals and acoustic guitar using it on a desk.

I bought this not expecting it to be amazing and do things I knew it couldn't do. It came in a blue box with Yorkville's name nowhere to be found on it, except the crooked Yorkville sticker on the stand itself. Upon disassembly I discovered cheap plastic parts and made in china stickers. Aside from that it works perfectly as expected. If you are on a budget buy it.
