Description
Nylon was DiMarzio's first choice for ClipLock Quick Release Guitar Straps. The same material used for automotive seatbelts is used for its comfort, strength and durability. Unlike inexpensive polypropylene, nylon has a smooth, satin feel, allowing the guitar to slide freely during performance. The fabric conforms to your body and adds a new level of comfort, yet it is strong enough to hold over 150 pounds!
ClipLock Quick Release Guitar Straps attach securely to your guitar with two sturdy bushings and extra-long screws sized to fit the strap bushing screw holes on most electric guitars and basses.

Wasn’t sure what this would be like, so bought one to try. A strap is a strap, right? Wrong! The material this is made of is so much more comfortable than your average strap - DiMarzio isn’t kidding when they say it’s soft! And it fits great.

The quality of this strap is great considering the price and it is very easy to install. Unfortunately, I just could not get myself to like for 2 reasons. First, the use of seatbelt material, although soft and comfortable, makes for a very slippery strap which can be a problem, especially if your guitar is neck heavy. When standing, my guitar would never stay where I left it which forced me to use my left hand to hold it in place. Second, I didn't like how the plastic locks could sometimes knock your guitar when putting the guitar on and off if you are not careful. I felt like it was only a matter of time I found a way to damage the finish.

This is the best, I mean no.1 best value for your money. I've been using one since people first wanted a lime green one in the 80's. My green one will not die. The colour started to fade a little after 30yrs of hard service. The most reliable, never relenting hold on your weapon. I will not use anything else on a guitar that I truly care about. Do not waste your time with noisey strap locks that loosen over time. Get serious.

Highly recommended if you are a Steve Vai fan. This goes hand in hand with my BFP Jem. Also, It is very easy to install and feels very comfortable.
