… Okay it don’t lie, this thing is a workout and will most definitely enhance your chops/technique/skill. No doubt about that at all. What amazes me other than the surface, the adapter it comes with for stands, blah blah blah is the fact that if you seriously have hammered at it for decades and it somehow wears out, you can literally flip the surface insert inside out, and boom a literal fresh surface ready for another decade of rocking. Now I haven’t owned it for even half of a decade, but it really does feel like it’s built to last. Don’t buy the reflexx pad. Spend the money on this I promise you it’ll be the best purchase you make (Other than the Evans RealFeel of course :D )

I've had this little pad for a couple of weeks and I've been using for it for about 20 minutes most days. It's a great little pad! It comes with an adapter that allows you to connect it to most cymbal stands. It can also be placed on a snare stand, provided the basket will clamp small and tight enough.
It's quieter than most pads, and gives less rebound, so it really is useful for workouts. The playing surface is made entirely of Moongel, with a soft rubber body. The rubber rim is flush with the playing surface, but rim shots using the shoulder of the stick make more of a slap sound. it's nice and portable and seems indestructible. I think I could drop this pad on any hard surface or floor, from a height of about 6 feet, without damaging the pad or the floor.
