After doing a recent test comparing this capo to the Planet Waves Artist model - I was amazed at the tonal difference in sound between the two capos. It was that noticeable. Plus the flat classical capo was used on my Takamine 740 FS which is a steel string acoustic with a wide 1 7/8" nut.
This basic capo simply gave the cleanest, tightest, brightest sound with finger picking or strumming. The Artist was a duller sound by comparison no matter how I adjusted the spring tension. Yes, not as fast as a clamp capo but taking a few seconds more for set is worth it for the quality of sound. I did the test 3 times just to be sure. Worth every penny - make that nickel.

Love it. Could never go back to a spring-loaded capo, especially on higher frets where they get in the way of my fretting hand. No such problems with this one. Barely know it's there. Very easy to take on and off too and provides a tight fit.

This little Planet Waves capo is a true gem. It does exactly what it's supposed to do - raise the pitch of your guitar without buzzes or pulling some strings out of tune. And it's small and light, so it doesn't interfere with your fretting hand.
That doesn't sound so special, except that every single other capo I've ever tried fails to do as well. Some are huge and clunky, some damage your guitar finish with heavy pressure on the back of the neck, some pull strings out of tune.
I've been using and loving mine for several years now. It works flawlessly on all my acoustic and electric guitars, with the sole exception of the nylon-string classical guitar, with its flat, wide, 5cm fretboard.
If you're looking for a capo, or have struggled with a different type of capo in the past and want a better one, definitely try this one.

Never able to find a capo that didn't get in my way until this little gem. Small, but works like a charm on my D28 and other guitars. I also like the screw tightening so I can have some control over how snug it needs to be. Highly recommended.

I've used the Kyser & it's a piece of garbage (it grips too tight, making your pitch sharp). This capo is excellent. Same price but no buzzing or going out of tune, I'm definitely buying it.

I bought this because I like the idea of tightening by a screw. This capo is amazing, when I saw it for the first time in person it was the smallest capo I've ever seen. This capo is so small you can put it in your pocket and forget about it.
This capo is very easy to use and fits a 7 string guitar perfectly.

Tried the Kyser capo but with arthritis in my hand, it was difficult to squeeze it open far enough to place accurately. Was getting some sideways positioning of the strings.
The NS Pro is very easy to position and tighten. I would certainly recommend it.

This capo is amazing! I bought it and use it on all my instraments, 12 string, multiple 6's and even my banjo. Sure it takes about 5 seconds longer to put on then other capos, but it will never pull it out of tune never move and never makes the strings buzz. I have used other capos but would never go back, this thing is awesome!
