Now even though I'm still only in high school, I've been playing Bb Clarinet for 5 years. I've worked with Rico reeds for 4 of those years. Usually if you buy a box of reeds 2-5 reeds are good to play with... the rest are duds. My music teacher gave each of the clarinets one of these reeds and we found they were far better then the Rico ones. Sure you'll still find duds in the box but these reeds are manufactured at a finer level then Rico so you know you are paying for a nicer sound.
