I tried many machine made reeds and for the price this is an excellent value. If you want to spend a bit more money, go for the Lesher medium soft but otherwise for just a standard reed, nothing fancy, and you are a student, this is a great value and a good tone.

I've had a couple of these. Not bad for a machine made reed, however, tends to go off key after a week or so.
