Ecodear recorders. I would rate both the soprano and alto an eleven out of ten if I could. With their great tuning, sweet clear voice, and ease of playing in the higher octave, they are just a joy to play. I would have no hesitation using them beside my much loved wooden recorders. Also, there is a warmth to the colour, and when holding them, the feel of the type of material used to make them is quite pleasant. For the dollar value, one could hardly do any better. Yamaha got these right.
