This pedal sounds great for that fuzzed out tone ideal for classic rock tones or stoner rock tones...good value...only flaw for me would be that its too big...you could just pick up the smaller version of it if thats an issue for you

I have three of these pedals. One American, one Russian, and a Russian vintage from the late 70's/early 80's, that's how much I love these pedals. It's the smoothest, loveliest fuzz on the planet. I prefer fuzz to the clean ear piercing distortion that seems so soulless when used through tubes and on a nice rock/blues solo. This pedal is great for any style really. Try it, you'll love it.

The first pedal I ever bought years ago. Nothing but love for this thing! Great controls that allow you to add just a little bit of fuzz, all the way up to utter sludge! Paired with a Wah Pedal, you can't go wrong.

I went into my local L&M on guitar tune up day and questioned the salesperson about how Fuzz pedals differed from OD and Distortion pedals. After a brief science lesson about sound waves and clipping, he said the best way to find out would be to show me. I tried several and wasn't convinced but he saved this one for last. Once I played it, I was sold! Great tone, great sound, great control. A completely different sound as compared to the other two pedals. The only knock was the large box it came in but it sounded better than the little one so I'll live with the size.

This is not for the faint of heart. 3 controls = massive distortion and sustain. If you're looking for bare bones, in-your-face fuzz, look no further than this massive (it's pretty bulky) pedal.
