Smaller Adapter Thread
The DT 770 PRO and DT 990 PRO models have been converted from the M8 thread to a smaller M5 thread so that the headphones can be connected to a mobile device with a protection cover using the 3.5 mm jack (with unscrewed jack adapter).
The jack adapter with M8 thread can also be used for headphones with M5 thread, but only as a plug adapter.
