Way better than wing nuts which take time to undo and never fail to fall to the floor and hide under the bass drum. Why do new cymbal stands still use them?
Note that these only work with 8mm threads. They don't tighten on 6 mm threads.
I wish they were a bit bigger (for chubby fingers lol).

I thought these cymbal mates looked kind of cheap and bought just to try it out. Very nice surprise..I like them better than the Vater slick nuts. You can slide them off and on AND twist them down for fine tuning. You can use it right side up OR upside down. A lot of options so you can figure out the best treatment for all your cymbals. I am slowly replacing ALL my other wing nuts etc. for these babies!
