The ResoTone Acoustimer Model Resin Tenor mouthpiece is an adaptation of the FocusTone Standard Model core geometry designed for the thicker walled, larger bodied, resin or hard rubber shape. This core is considered to be a large chamber and possesses a deep, broad tone, while maintaining plenty of power and edge with the resonant quality of the specially compounded material. The ResoTone has a full, fat tone with warmth and resistance from the larger chamber size. It may not seem at first to have the power of some others due to the resistance, but once you adjust your playing to that resistance, it has both the power and the fatness. This model is popular among many experienced players who understand this and seem to prefer this chamber over the medium large chamber FocusTone which is tighter and more focused.
