Snareweight #5 Brass Magnetic Snare Dampener with Leather Insert

The Snareweight Brass magnetic snare dampener is designed to help minimize the ring of your drums without affecting the brightness or tone! The new and improved 5th generation of Snareweight is built for metal triple flange hoops (die cast hoops require a Pro Lock, sold separately). Snareweight adds mass to the head which helps to evenly smooth the lower-mid ringing frequencies that can't be reached with other methods while keeping the tone of your shell in tact. The unwanted ring of the high frequencies are shaped by the chosen insert in a snap by matching the insert with your favorite drum head.

More durable than any other dampening system available, it's made of a weighted solid 3/4-lb chunk of CNC'd brass. The weight, friction and magnet, all work together to create "expressive dampening"- giving colour options to your playing all the way through the dynamic range. The neodymium arched magnet secures the Snareweight to the hoop while at the same time securing the leather insert of your choice for your dampening digs.

Inserts
A small leather insert is included with the Snareweight #5 Brass. Inserts can be installed in a variety of orientations, offering endless options for customizing your sound. Further customize your sound with a variety of inserts available.
