I use this for approximately an hour a day....haven't changed the batteries in almost 60 days.....very impressed due to the heat generated by a regular orchestral light.

Regular battery wear only lasts 6 hours and then light goes dim. Bought 12 of these for orchestra setting and didn’t want to use power adapter. Works good with power adapter or fresh batteries. Overall Not impressed

I have not experienced any of the troubles listed in the other reviews. Works well, 2 settings.

I echo the comment about how dim this light is. It has good coverage, but the light isn't bright enough. REALLY wish I hadn't bought this, and REALLY wish the Long and McQuade rep has warned me about this.
