D'Addario gold-plated 1/4" straight instrument cable has near-perfect frequency response, double-insulated/double-shield coverage, and low triboelectric (handling noise). The plug is soldered, covered with an internal copper shield tube, and then over-molded, first with a rigid PVC to encapsulate the solder joints, and then with a flexible polymer for unprecedented strain relief. This virtually indestructible construction is so tough, so durable, that it carries a limited lifetime warranty.

I've got three "planet waves" cables with multiple problems.
I've thrown away all three because they have shorted out(no signal)
Planet waves is the worst quality, do not be fooled by gold paint on the connectors, these are the lowest quality cables you can buy.
