Features - Average. It's more or less a one-trick pony, but it does that trick well. I like the Treble & Bass controls in place of the Tone control on a TS. I don't like that it can't use a battery, and that the power adapter is not included. Quality - Very Good. it's built solid, the controls feel smooth. Sounds really good, does exactly the job it is meant to do. Value - Outstanding. It's currently on sale for $39, I had no problem paying regular full price when I bought it. Minus half a point for not including a power adapter in the box. Overall - Outstanding. I pair it with a Strat neck pickup into a small tube amp to get that singing SRV sound, or with humbuckers or P90s into a Marshall tube combo for growling midrange bite. Pairs great with a fuzz pedal when you want a wooly doom sound, or you can keep the gain really low and bump the volume for a clean(ish) boost to cut through the mix. The current sale price of $39 is unbelievably good value.

Love the tone of this thing! The natural distortion of my amp is lacking, but when I play through the Texas Trouble pedal, it opened up a huge new range of sweet sounds. Three of the four dials (gain, treble & bass) are very usable. The other dial (volume) is way too touchy, but you just have to be careful with it. FYI: there's no internal battery so you must use a 9-volt AC adapter which is not included. Anyway, I'm delighted with this purchase... it truly does sound fantastic!
