Bought these for going out dancing in a club with terribly loud music. Makes their bad EQ job sound better and my ears aren't ringing after hours of being there. Works good for band practice and small gigs. Decent price and nice to have on my keychain. Protect your ears friends :) I'm sure some higher priced ones are better but these do the job and last.

I bought these because I have a brain injury and going outside, shopping, being in crowds, etc is extremely difficult because of all of the auditory and visual stimulation. I get dizzy within seconds of hearing too much noise, and I can no longer decipher where some sounds are coming from. I wore these earplugs using a chop saw and listening to music, and while outside/shopping, and I must say, what a difference! I am able to focus on the task at hand, instead of becoming completely overwhelmed by the auditory stimulation all around me.
For the past year, I have only been able to go to one store and then I was finished for the entire day, today I was able to go to 3 different places, without getting too dizzy (I only have part of my cerebellum, so sound is only one thing that makes me dizzy). They do what they say, and simply turn down the sound level.
The price is high, but you are paying for something that actually works. The only negative I can find would be that just like all earplugs, you will hear your voice vibrating in your ears. Keep this in mind if you are using these with a wind instrument or singing.
Overall, I am very impressed, and I never do reviews of products.
