DWs 5000 Series Hi-Hats are available with an extra heavy-duty 1.25 base and lighter weight 1 base in both 2 and 3-leg designs.
The 5500TD 2-leg and the 5500D 3-leg heavy-duty Hi-Hat Stands feature a ball bearing hinge and the unique bearing link connector, which connects the footboard chain to the pull rod, for reduced friction and increased sensitivity.

I replaced my 3 leg Yamaha with this 2 leg DW. Makes so much space for my double pedal. Super good quality. Easy adjustment and my hi hats sounds and work twice as good immediately. Now I want to buy the matching double base pedal
