Question: How long is this rod? How does it compare with the MC-TR1 rod, also sold by Meinl?

Answer: The Meinl Straight Rod percussion mount (model #MC-R1) is 26 cm (10.2 inches) long. It also has a diameter of 9.5 mm (3/8 inch). The Meinl MC-R1 is a standard straight percussion rod, while the MC-TR1 is a straight rod with a threaded end
