I have a '99 Boss GT-3 which I bought from a bud about 20 years ago. I recently pulled it from storage after 12 years and, yup, I still didn't have a clue what to do with it as all his User Patches weren't to my taste, or just made my Bandit 112 squeal (feedback overload). So I decided to erase all his User Patches and start clean, but wanted to save what he downloaded, just in case .... This Roland cable was exactly what I needed to upload/save all the GT-3 data to my PC as it's SysEx compatible. I use GT-3FxFloorboard. I was also able to download some new patches. Thanks FxFloorboard for your software, and thanks PoCo Store!!! I got it used in Mint condition

Hi. I finally got it work with my Surface Pro 7. I spent quite a few hours trying to get it to work with my Roland HP-3 digital piano and Finale software on my Surface Pro but the answer was just so simple. It doesn't work with USB 3.0 but those are supposed to be compatible to 2.0 anyway. Anyway, use a pen to flip the switch on the UM-ONE to "TAB" for tablet. Yes, my Surface Pro was in not in tablet mode itself but the MIDI device needs to get set to TAB no matter what mode you use your SP. No need for drivers, it gets installed right away and works great. A SP is both a PC and a tablet. But only use that device set to tablet. It works likes a charm now.

Tried a few midi to usb cables, none worked on my Roland D10. This cable is the only one that did exactly what it was supposed to. Works great but at $40CDN it is a tad on the expensive side.

Took a little while to figure out that this only worked with my USB-2 ports...I tried it in type 1 and 3 and it would not recognize. Once the I figured that out it worked great...used it for connecting Roland electronic drums.

I've been using a Scarlett audio interface with no midi in/out and wanted to connect my midi keyboard. This works perfect. Plugged it in and it worked right away. I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't have to do anything. It just works. No issues at all.

Really hard to install on my MacBook Pro. Doesn't work with GarageBand and my Roland piano. I am returning it tomorrow.

Suddenly, my 17-year-old V-Drum kit has new life, with unlimited sounds from EZ Drummer, etc. One of the best and least expensive upgrades ever! Works great.

I have had this product for a few months. I use it with my Roland digital piano and Sonar X1. This was my first time using a MIDI interface it was very easy to set up and it did more than I was expecting.
