I originally bought these for my Martin Roadseries D10E, after seeing them on a higher end guitar in the store. They looked great, and after some research online, picked up a set.
Unfortunately, they didn't fit my Martin. The slots don't go up far enough on the head for them to seat close to the bridge. But they looked great, and to my ear, added more depth and mellocity (not a real word, but it is now).
Not wanting to return them right away, I bought the GraphTech bridge pins (see separate review) and put these in my old Yamaha. What a difference in sound! And they fit perfectly!
Well worth the investment in sound and looks, but be aware they may not fit your specific guitar.
